Human Resource Development Programme

Applications are invited for three/six month sponsored dissertation/ project training

The Institute of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics invites applications for sponsored training or dissertation work for the year 2025-2026.

Eligibility

BSc, MSc, MTech in any branch of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics, BPharm, MPharm and PhD scholars having an interest in computational biology and bioinformatics are also eligible for apply.

Duration

Summer training : For one month of April, May or June 

Dissertation works: For three months ( January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December)

Sponsored training: For six months (January to June and July to December)

Course fees

Summer training: @ INR5000/- pm

Dissertation works: @ INR6000/- pm

Sponsored training: @INR7000/- pm

Course contents

For summer training: Module 1

For Dissertation works: three months ( Module 1  or Module 2 and defined project work)

For sponsored training: Six months: (Module 1 , Module 2 , defined project work and journal publication)

How to apply

Applications in the prescribed format duly filled in and forwarded by the head of the institution to be submitted at the Institute directly or mailed in the id pabitra@icbb-res.org as an attachment.

Selection

There are only eight seats available for the sessions, application reached up to the last working day of the preceding month of a session will be screened and only eight applicants will be informed by mail or over phone.
